Zeffery A. Mims, Esquire

Attorney
Biography

Biography Overview

Zeffery Mims was born and raised the son of a military officer who relocated every four years to a new destination. My favorite of which was Key West, Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and graduated with his juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University College of Law.

Zeffery Mims has dedicated his practice to providing access to justice. He has served many clients wherein access to justice was at stake. In 2017, Zeffery helped obtain non-monetary bond and pre-trial release for several indigent clients who were being held on non-violent criminal charges. In April 2019, Zeffery Mims Law, PLLC was founded on the principle of “serving the public one client at a time.” During this time, Zeffery successfully defended the estate of a client’s son from a wrongful death claim, prosecuted a client’s sister who embezzled funds while posing as power of attorney, and was awarded over a quarter of a million dollars ($250,000.00) for his clients.

In addition to his work as an attorney, Zeffery Mims has a passion for paying it forward, and enjoys volunteering with the Paul C. Perkins Bar Associations Youth Outreach Section and providing pro bono legal services with the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association.

Zeffery Mims practices law as a first-generation attorney whose faith and family have been instrumental to his success story. He considers it a privilege to represent the people, not the powerful. He is ready to take your call.
