Meet Zachary Perrotta
Zachary Perrotta is an attorney with Morgan & Morgan’s Jacksonville office.
Before law school, Zach graduated from Florida State University with Latin honors. At FSU, Zach served as a Captain on the Undergraduate Mock Trial Team, earning 18 awards in regional and national competitions.
Zach then attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law, earned a full-tuition scholarship, and graduated with Latin honors. In law school, he served as a Research Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy, a Chair of Education on the Florida Trial Team, and a teaching assistant in Trial Practice and Legal Writing classes. Zach also worked as a judicial intern and extern for the Honorable Judge Carrie A. Wozniak on Florida’s Sixth District Court of Appeal.
Zach continued earning awards in trial advocacy competitions as a law student, including 1st Place in UF Law’s Closing Argument Competition, Best Team in the Florida Trial Team’s Final Four Showcase, Semifinalist finishes in the National Trial Competition’s Regional Championship, and Regional Champion and Outstanding Attorney awards in the All-Star Bracket Challenge, the largest law student trial advocacy competition of the Fall semester.
Zach’s advocacy achievements earned him recognition as a 2026 Academic All-American Trial Advocate, a designation awarded to 20 of the top student trial advocates nationwide by the National Association of Legal Advocacy Educators. Zach was also inducted into the Order of Barristers, a national honorary society recognizing excellence in oral advocacy and brief writing. He also received UF Law’s Dean’s Leadership Award, Pro Bono Excellence Award, and four CALI Awards for earning the highest grades in Constitutional & Civil Rights Litigation, Appellate Law & Policy, Supreme Court Controversies, and Legal Writing II—Persuasive Writing.
