Tony Bennett

Trial Attorney

Tony Bennett is a talented personal injury trial attorney with extensive trial experience. He attended the University of Florida as a Bright Futures Scholar before obtaining his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.

After law school, Mr. Bennett worked for the Public Defender’s Office in Orange and Broward Country, where he gained invaluable trial experience in two culturally and demographically distinct jurisdictions. He proudly served as the first chair in 38 trials during his tenure as an Assistant Public Defender, representing people accused of crimes ranging from simple misdemeanors to homicide, robbery, and white-collar crimes.

Following his work as a Public Defender, Mr. Bennett left criminal law to become a managing attorney for an insurance defense firm in Jupiter, FL. Working for insurance companies helped Mr. Bennett gain a unique insight into how insurance companies evaluate cases and approach litigation to deny claimants the fair value of a claim. He served as the first chair for many trials in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Dade County as an insurance defense attorney, without losing a single case he tried for the insurance companies.

Armed with this knowledge and comfort in the courtroom, Mr. Bennett returned to his roots, representing Plaintiffs. His insight into insurance litigation allows Mr. Bennett to demand and pursue nothing less than the full and fair value for his clients. He prides himself on being able to “cut through the fog” and get to the core of the issue to efficiently resolve cases.

In June 2014, Tony Bennett was co-counsel in a wrongful death trial obtaining a $15.2 million-dollar verdict in a tractor-trailer versus motorcycle accident. Mr. Bennett is admitted to practice law throughout the State of Florida, the Southern District of Florida in Federal court, and Washington D.C.
