Meet Tedi M. Palko
Theodora M. Palko, who goes by Tedi, began her academic journey at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, graduating magna cum laude with a double major in Political Science and History, along with a minor in Psychology. Driven by a passion for courtroom advocacy, she moved to Knoxville to attend the University of Tennessee College of Law. During law school, Tedi excelled both inside and outside the classroom, serving as Chair of the Moot Court Board, competing on the mock trial team, working as an Acquisitions Editor for the Tennessee Journal of Race, Gender, and Social Justice, and earning induction into the national Order of Barristers before graduating magna cum laude.
Upon earning her law degree and admission to the bar, Tedi built a versatile litigation foundation practicing across general sessions, circuit, and criminal courts throughout Tennessee. She developed sharp courtroom instincts by litigating criminal jury trials, drafting appellate briefs, and managing civil dockets from initial filing through depositions and mediation. Transitioning her focus to civil litigation and personal injury, Tedi went on to manage high-volume caseloads exceeding 150 cases, handling everything from liability evaluation and medical record analysis to complex lien resolutions and aggressive settlement negotiations. Licensed in Tennessee state and federal courts, she is known for her meticulous preparation and her ability to break down complex legal issues so clients always feel informed, valued, and empowered.
Today, Tedi brings that dynamic courtroom experience, strong negotiation skills, and compassionate client focus to her personal injury practice. She takes immense pride in standing up for injured individuals and their families, tirelessly fighting to maximize their recoveries and hold negligent parties accountable. When she is away from the office, Tedi loves to travel, stay active working out at the gym, spend quality time playing with her dogs, and relax on the couch watching The Office with her husband.
