Meet Taylor Meyer
Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Taylor Meyer developed an early passion for trial advocacy and courtroom communication. She pursued her legal studies locally at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she quickly established herself as an exceptional oralist and brief writer. Throughout law school, Taylor received multiple Moot Court awards and earned induction into the prestigious Order of Barristers, an honor recognizing graduating law students who demonstrate the highest level of excellence in advocacy and courtroom presentation.
Following graduation, Taylor moved to the nation’s capital to begin her legal career in public service, serving as a judicial law clerk at the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Working closely within the federal judiciary provided her with invaluable insight into court procedure, trial management, and judicial decision-making. Taylor then transitioned into private practice, where she spent several years representing defendants in civil litigation. Defending complex claims gave her an insider’s perspective on how defense teams and corporate entities evaluate exposure, assess evidence, and build strategy.
Driven by a genuine commitment to helping everyday individuals navigate difficult circumstances, Taylor made the heartfelt choice to dedicate her practice to plaintiff advocacy. Today, she brings that versatile blend of trial competition honors, federal clerkship insight, and civil defense experience to the Morgan & Morgan office in Washington, D.C., representing clients in personal injury and general liability matters. Warm, approachable, and deeply attentive, Taylor takes great pride in guiding people through the recovery process, using her comprehensive litigation background to hold responsible parties accountable and achieve the justice her clients deserve.
