Meet Stephanie L. Hanrahan

Stephanie L. Hanrahan was born in the small upstate community of Norwich, New York. She pursued her undergraduate education at Binghamton University, where she excelled academically and graduated cum laude in 2014. Following her undergraduate studies, Stephanie stepped into the world of politics, working in Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia before choosing to transition into the legal field. She then enrolled at the Syracuse University College of Law in 2016, earning her Juris Doctor and taking the bar exam early to jumpstart her career in public advocacy.

Upon entering the legal profession, Stephanie launched her career at the public defender's office, where she quickly rose to become the First Assistant Public Defender. In this role, she handled criminal matters ranging from minor violations all the way to Class A felonies. She then expanded her public service by serving as the Norwich City Attorney and Assistant Chenango County Attorney, defending local municipalities in civil litigation, prosecuting code violations and juvenile matters, and managing tax foreclosures and evictions. Alongside her municipal work, Stephanie also managed her own private law practice, focusing on family law, criminal defense, matrimonial matters, real estate, and Social Security claims.

Throughout her tenure in New York, Stephanie remained deeply committed to supporting her professional community, serving as a Delegate and Vice President of the DelChenO Women's Bar Association from 2022 to 2024. In 2025, she made an exciting move to Panama City, Florida, where she narrowed her practice to represent individuals in Social Security Administrative hearings. Bringing her vast litigation background and passion for public advocacy to the team at Morgan and Morgan in July 2026, Stephanie now works tirelessly to help her clients secure the Social Security benefits they rightly deserve.

Outside of her legal practice, Stephanie maintains an active lifestyle in her new home state. She is a licensed Realtor and contributes her time to the local CPAR Government Affairs Committee. In her quiet hours, she loves diving into a good book, spending sunny days at the beach, and going for long hikes.
