A California native, Shay earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Northridge. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, where she concentrated in personal injury law and developed a strong foundation in civil litigation and advocacy.
Before joining Morgan & Morgan, Shay served as a Supervising Attorney, managing a diverse caseload and leading legal teams in handling personal injury, premises liability, and auto accident claims. Her role required not only deep litigation knowledge but also strong negotiation and early resolution strategies—skills she now uses to secure favorable outcomes for her clients. Her leadership and ability to balance strategic legal thinking with compassionate client care have made her a trusted advocate in the field.
In addition to her legal practice, Shay serves as the Vice President & Director of Global Partnerships at the University of West Los Angeles.
