Samantha J. Spandau is an attorney in Morgan & Morgan’s Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home Negligence Department.

Originally from South Florida, Ms. Spandau's passion for advocating for victims of medical malpractice started at young age as her sister was born with a brain injury due to the negligence of medical providers. This drove her to enroll in the legal studies academy at her high school. Ms. Spandau then proceeded to graduate from the University of Central Florida with a major in legal studies, where she was a Dean's Scholar and member of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity. Throughout her undergraduate career, Ms. Spandau volunteered at the Florida Bar Foundation and worked as a file clerk and legal assistant on a team specializing in nursing home negligence.

In 2021, Ms. Spandau graduated with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While at the University of Florida, she was the Executive Notes Editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy, Vice President of the Health Care Law Society, and a Trial Practice Teaching Assistant. Additionally, Ms. Spandau was the recipient of the Pro Bono Excellence Award.

Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Ms. Spandau was a medical malpractice law clerk in South Florida, and a Certified Legal Intern in the Special Victim's Unit at the 8th Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office. Her legal career continued as a prosecutor for the 8th Judicial Circuit gaining invaluable litigation experience and trying over 20 cases.
