
Biography Overview
Roland Hermida is a Trial Partner in the firm’s Tampa office, focusing his time solely on trials for clients injured in catastrophic automobile and trucking collisions, wrongful death and general personal injury cases throughout the state as well as nationwide.
Before joining Morgan & Morgan, Roland worked 18 years and was a partner at the prestigious Banker Lopez Gassler P.A., where he tried more than 80 Civil Jury Trials.
Roland attended the University of Florida receiving his B.S., Cum Laude, in Journalism in 2004, followed by his J.D., Cum Laude, at Florida State College of Law in 2007, where he served on Law Review and received the Book Award for Evidence taught by Professor Charles Ehrhardt, who literally wrote the book on Florida Evidence.
He is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Civil Trial Law, is a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”) and is rated AV-Preeminent by his peers through Martindale- Hubbell. He has also been named to Florida Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America for more than a decade.
Roland was born and raised in Tampa as a third-generation Tampanian. He and his wife, Lindsay, are proud parents of Roland “Roly” Hermida III.
