Meet Richard LaBrecque
Richard LaBrecque built the foundation of his career and personal life in Connecticut, developing a strong passion for helping people in his local community right from the start. He launched his legal career at a general practice firm in Waterbury, where his hard work, dedication, and natural leadership quickly stood out. Over time, he earned a position as a partner and took the helm as head of the firm's personal injury and workers' compensation practice groups, dedicating his days to standing up for individuals navigating difficult life circumstances.
While Richard truly loved representing injured people, he recognized that fighting big insurance companies often requires substantial leverage and extensive support. Driven by a desire to bring even stronger advocacy to his clients, he sought to join a firm with the high-level resources necessary to go toe-to-toe with the largest corporate opponents in the country. When the opportunity arose to join the team at Morgan & Morgan, he eagerly jumped at the chance to bring his years of experience to the nation's premier personal injury firm.
Today, Richard utilizes Morgan & Morgan's unmatched national reach and resources to level the playing field for his clients, ensuring everyday people receive the full compensation, medical care, and respect they deserve. In addition to his legal practice, he has maintained a lifelong commitment to public service, contributing his leadership to numerous civic organizations. Over the years, he has served on the Boys Club Board of Directors, the Waterbury City Planning Commission, the Waterbury Charter Revision Commission, and the Waterbury Bar Association Board of Directors, always seeking new ways to give back.
Outside of the courtroom, Richard lives in Cheshire, Connecticut, with his wife and their sons. He is a devoted family man who loves spending quality time with his family and taking an active role in his sons' sports teams. In his quiet hours, Richard enjoys working on home and yard projects, diving into a good book, fishing, and squeezing in a round of golf whenever he gets the chance.
