Paul Lazaro is a litigation attorney with Morgan and Morgan. Paul handles all facets of personal injury litigation including depositions, court appearances, and trial.

Prior to joining Morgan and Morgan, Paul commenced his personal injury practice at a closely held law firm in West Tampa. In his time with the firm, Paul handled all facets of litigation including court appearances, depositions, and trial. Most importantly, Paul learned the importance of quality customer service, and further developed his professionalism.

In 2015, Paul was admitted to practice law in the state of Florida. The day after he was sworn as an attorney, Paul was hired by the Law Office of Julianne M. Holt, Public Defender for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. As an Assistant Public Defender Paul proudly served Hillsborough County’s indigent community, completing multiple jury trials and ninety-six bench trials to verdict.

Paul earned his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign, Illinois. While at Illinois, Paul was President and Events Coordinator for the Federalist Society, Scholarship Chair for the Latina/o Law Students Association, and represented indigent litigants in federal court as a member of the University of Illinois Federal Civil Rights Clinic.

In 2011, Paul graduated from Saint Peter’s University, Summa Cum Laude. While at Saint Peter’s, Paul was a member of their Division I track and field team receiving All-Academic Conference Honors and was the Opinions Editor for the College newspaper. As a senior Paul was awarded the Pauw Wow Journalism Award and was appointed to the Jesuit Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Nu.

A native of Tampa, Florida, Paul attended Jesuit High School, where he served as vice-president of the school pep band and captained the wrestling team, placing in the state wrestling tournament as a senior.

In his free time, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, cooking Italian food, and researching criminal justice issues. Paul is a native Spanish speaker.
