Matthew Kirby

Biography Overview

Matthew Kirby is a passionate and empathetic attorney at Morgan & Morgan’s Tampa office. He specializes in premises liability and slip-and-fall accidents. Born and raised in Virginia, Matthew’s compassion and determination to advocate for the underdog have been guiding principles throughout his life. In 2020, he earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, double majoring in Political Philosophy, Policy and law, and foreign affairs, solidifying his interest in law and justice.

Matthew pursued his legal education at George Washington University Law School, graduating with honors in 2023. During law school, he further developed his commitment to fighting for those in need, honing the skills he now uses to challenge powerful adversaries on behalf of his clients. After being admitted to the Florida Bar, Matthew joined Morgan & Morgan, bringing his dedication and expertise to the Tampa office.

As a member of the Young Lawyers Division, Matthew stays active in the legal community, always striving to grow and learn as an advocate. His compassion and drive shine through when working with clients, ensuring that each case is handled with care and precision.
