Meet Marc Hunter
Marc Hunter’s professional and academic journey is marked by a deep commitment to communication and public service, beginning at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where he earned his Associate of Arts in 2019. He then transitioned to the College of Charleston, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2021. Driven to apply these skills to the legal field, Marc attended the University of Mississippi School of Law, popularly known as Ole Miss, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2024. During his time in law school, he distinguished himself as an articles editor for the Southern Journal of Policy and was honored as a fellow and recipient of the Justice John Paul Stevens Public Interest Foundation.
Immediately following law school, Marc dedicated himself to public service by launching his career as a public defender for the Georgia Public Defender's Council, where he vigorously defended the Constitutional rights of juveniles in criminal proceedings. He later transitioned into private practice for a brief period, expanding his litigation experience by handling low-level misdemeanors and traffic-related offenses. These roles allowed him to build a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy and develop a deep empathy for individuals navigating complex legal situations.
Today, Marc brings his vibrant energy and extensive legal background to the Morgan & Morgan office in Atlanta, where he focuses his practice entirely on personal injury cases. Never content to stop learning, he is also currently putting the finishing touches on a Master of Laws degree at the Texas A&M School of Law, with only a few classes remaining. Outside of his busy professional and academic schedule, Marc stays balanced by pursuing his personal passions, which include hitting the gym for weightlifting, diving into a good book, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
