Meet Malik Jackson
Malik Jackson practices in the automobile group. Malik’s work is driven by a commitment to justice and protecting motor vehicle victims.
Malik was born and raised in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, graduating as class salutatorian of Ribault Senior High School with an International Baccalaureate diploma. Afterward, Malik earned his bachelor’s degree in Politics from Princeton University, where he played quarterback and won an Ivy League football championship in 2013. Between undergraduate work and law school, Malik was a Teach for America Corps member, teaching U.S. History and coaching football at Highlands Middle School on Jacksonville’s northside. Malik obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando in 2019.
Malik’s legal experience prior to joining Morgan & Morgan involved representing legal clients concerning Florida’s NIL laws, NCAA and conference recruiting and eligibility rules and processes, NIL contracts, college athlete institutional revenue share contracts, and other commercialization of an athlete’s property variously since the advent of the NIL era in July of 2021.
Law runs deep in Malik’s family, as his mother has practiced in Florida for more than thirty years and is a graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Malik followed her example, with his younger brother, Kalif Jackson, also a practicing attorney for Morgan & Morgan based out of South Carolina.
Outside the office, Malik remains dedicated to service, mentorship, and personal growth. Malik enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, eating good food, participating in outdoor activities, and leading his Sunday School class at Historic Mt. Zion AME Church. He is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, and is guided by the principles of Christian manhood in both his personal and professional life.
