Meet Leo Yang
Leo Yang’s academic path began at the University of British Columbia, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2018. This background provided him with a deep understanding of human behavior and communication, skills that would later become essential in his legal career. He then moved to Arizona to attend the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. During his time in law school, he focused on mastering the complexities of the legal system and developing a sharp analytical mindset, ultimately earning his Juris Doctor in 2024.
Throughout his legal training and early career, Leo has built extensive litigation experience, including a track record of successfully litigating various motions in court. His versatile background allows him to handle an incredibly broad range of cases, from personal injury matters like car accidents, motorcycle accidents, and slip and falls to more complex areas such as medical malpractice, product liability, and wrongful death. He is also well-versed in commercial and real property litigation, as well as premises liability and negligent security cases. This wide-reaching expertise ensures that he can provide strategic and effective advocacy for clients facing many different types of legal challenges.
Today, Leo is a vital member of the Morgan & Morgan office in Phoenix, where he serves a diverse community with his unique linguistic abilities. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Korean, allowing him to communicate directly and comfortably with a wide array of clients. Beyond his work in the office, he is an active participant in the legal community as a member of the Arizona Asian American Bar Association.
