Meet Laura L. Lomeli

Laura Lomeli was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she developed an early passion for understanding people and serving her local community. She began her higher education at Nevada State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. As a proud first-generation Mexican-American and the first attorney in her family, Laura was inspired to channel her deep community roots and perspective into legal advocacy, choosing to stay in her hometown to pursue her law degree.

Laura went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law, where she quickly established herself as an active leader dedicated to community-focused advocacy. Throughout law school, she served on the board of La Voz, the Hispanic Law Student Association, and actively contributed to the board of the Immigrant Rights Coalition. Her selfless commitment to helping others led her to complete more than 100 hours of pro bono legal service, earning her the prestigious Highest Pro Bono Honors distinction upon graduation.

Following her admission to the bar, Laura launched her legal practice focusing on personal injury advocacy, championing individuals and families who have been injured due to the negligence of others. In addition to her dedicated casework, she continues to invest deeply in her professional and cultural community, serving on the board of the Nevada Latino Bar Association as Vice President of Outreach. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Laura takes genuine pride in connecting with clients from diverse walks of life, offering an empathetic, approachable presence and ensuring everyday people feel supported, respected, and heard.

Today, Laura brings that heartfelt commitment and energetic advocacy to Morgan & Morgan, fighting diligently to ensure injured clients obtain the full justice and compensation they deserve. Outside of her legal work, Laura cherishes time spent with her family and her two beloved dogs, Leo and Bobbi. In her free time, she also loves traveling to new destinations, shopping, and curating her collection of unique vintage handbags.
