Meet Kourtney Salyer Howard

Kourtney Salyer Howard was born and raised in Eastern Kentucky, where she began her academic path by earning a Bachelor of Arts in English from Morehead State University. Driven by a passion to advocate for others, she went on to attend Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law to earn her Juris Doctor. Following law school, Kourtney launched her legal career by dedicating the first three years of her practice to insurance defense, representing insurance carriers in auto and premises liability claims. This hands-on litigation experience provided her with an invaluable, behind-the-scenes understanding of how insurers evaluate risk, assess damages, and defend against injury claims.

Today, Kourtney channels that deep insider perspective into standing up for everyday individuals at the Morgan & Morgan office in Lexington, Kentucky. Her practice is dedicated to premises liability, negligent security, and slip-and-fall matters, where she works tirelessly to hold property owners and businesses accountable for dangerous conditions.
