Born and raised in Tampa, Mr. Goan attended Tampa Catholic High School and subsequently received a Marketing Degree from the University of South Florida. He then attended Stetson College of Law where he completed both a State and Federal Judicial Internship. He was the recipient of the Victor O. Wehle trial advocacy award before receiving a Juris Doctor degree and graduating Magna Cum Laude.

After law school Mr. Goan worked as In-House Counsel for Pharmakon Labs, Inc., where he assisted in the filings of new drug applications and developed standard operating procedures in compliance with the Federal Code of Regulations.

In 2000 he started representing accident victims with the law office of Anthony Prieto. In 2004 he became a partner with the offices of Prieto, Prieto and Goan. Throughout his tenure with PPG he has focused primarily in the area of personal injury and protecting the rights of people in the Hispanic communities.
