Meet Kathryn Carlino
Kathryn Carlino was born and raised in New York, where she also pursued her undergraduate education in the heart of Manhattan at Marymount Manhattan College. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Teaching Dance Arts, she moved to Paris to share her passion for education by teaching English to elementary school children. Upon returning to New York, Kathryn pivoted into the business world, earning her Master’s degree in Fashion Marketing from LIM College. She then applied her expertise to the hospitality industry, managing digital marketing for a prominent restaurant group, before the onset of the pandemic provided her with the clarity and time to pursue a long-standing goal: studying for the LSAT and entering law school.
After successfully graduating from law school, Kathryn moved to the South to begin her legal career, starting with a prestigious clerkship under the Honorable Deadra L. Jefferson in the circuit court. This experience gave her a firsthand look at the judicial process and sharpened her understanding of courtroom dynamics. Following her clerkship, she gained valuable perspective working in insurance defense, which provided her with unique insights into how insurance companies handle and evaluate claims. Today, Kathryn is a dedicated member of the Morgan & Morgan team at the Charleston, South Carolina, office, where she utilizes her diverse background and strategic mindset to advocate fiercely for her clients.
