Katherine Michelle Massa is an attorney in the Jacksonville, Florida office of Morgan & Morgan, P.A. Ms. Massa was born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri. She received her undergraduate degree, with honors, from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, and obtained her law degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia, School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Massa was an editor of the Journal of Dispute Resolution.

After graduating from law school in 2005, Ms. Massa clerked for the Honorable Kathianne Knapp Crane in the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eastern District. Ms. Massa then spent three years in St. Louis, Missouri at a civil defense firm, concentrating her practice in products liability, business litigation, and health law.

In 2009, Ms. Massa moved to Jacksonville, Florida and joined Morgan & Morgan. Ms. Massa now focuses her practice on tobacco-related litigation, representing individuals and/or families of individuals harmed by cigarettes.

Ms. Massa distinguished herself by being named a “Rising Star” by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine, which recognizes the top 2.5% of the State’s young lawyers. To be eligible for “Rising Stars,” an attorney must be under the age of 40 or have been practicing for 10 years or less. A multiphase selection process is used to determine which attorneys will receive this distinction, and nominees are evaluated on the basis of peer recognition and professional excellence.
