
Biography Overview
Karen Hunt is an attorney working out of the Boston office of Morgan & Morgan. She is a proud graduate of Boston University School of Law. During her time in law school, Karen engaged herself to developing both her oral advocacy skills and written scholarship.
Karen has participated as an oralist at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, the Boston International Innovation Moot, and the Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition. She is now one of the coaches of the Vis Team at BU, and a member of the board of BIIT.
Karen was also the Managing Director for the Boston University International Law Journal and her note, “For Use in a Foreign or International Tribunal”: ZF Automotive Settles the Debate Over Who Can Use 28 U.S.C. § 1782 to Request Discovery Assistance in United States District Courts was published in the Spring 2024 volume.
Before entering the legal profession, Karen pursued a career as an opera singer, and is a proud founder and board member of The Valkyrie Ensemble, a nationally recognized 501-c3 non-profit production company based in Chicago whose mission is to promote and empower in and through music.
