Meet Jose J. Zalduondo
Jose Zalduondo was born in Puerto Rico and moved with his family to Brazil at ten years old, an international upbringing that fostered his multicultural perspective and fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. After completing high school, he relocated to the United States to attend American University in Washington, DC, where he earned his undergraduate degree in International Economics. Driven by a passion for helping others through legal advocacy, Jose continued his studies at Hofstra University, earning his Juris Doctor in 2008 before being admitted to the New York Bar in 2009. He later expanded his legal credentials by earning admission to practice in Florida.
Following his bar admission, Jose dedicated his career to protecting everyday employees, spending sixteen years mastering the nuances of New York workers' compensation law. Over more than a decade and a half of focused practice, he guided countless injured workers through the complex claims process, handling everything from hearings and depositions to settlement negotiations. His extensive background allowed him to develop a deep, practical understanding of how to overcome bureaucratic hurdles and advocate effectively against persistent insurance carriers.
Today, Jose brings his sixteen years of specialized experience to the Morgan & Morgan team at the New York office, where he concentrates on representing individuals in workers' compensation claims. Warm, approachable, and multilingual, he takes pride in communicating clearly with clients from all walks of life so they feel supported and informed at every step. Jose remains passionately committed to standing up for hardworking people, fighting diligently to ensure they receive the full medical benefits, lost wage recovery, and justice they deserve.
