Meet Jonathan Walker
Jonathan Walker is an attorney in Morgan & Morgan’s New Haven office, focusing his practice on personal injury matters.
Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Central Connecticut State University in 2018 and his Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law in 2022.
Jonathan’s litigation experience began prior to law school, when he worked in a private workers’ compensation practice, gaining hands-on exposure to informal and pre-formal hearings. This experience gave him a strong foundation in case strategy, advocacy, and dispute resolution.
While in law school, Jonathan served on the Student Bar Association Executive Board as Treasurer for three consecutive years, managing hundreds of thousands of dollars in organizational funds, while also engaging in legal work in support of underserved communities.
Following law school, Jonathan served as an Assistant Attorney General with the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General, where he represented respondents and insurance interests in workers’ compensation matters. Across both his government and private practice experience, he has contributed to securing resolutions in claims exceeding seven figures through strategic negotiation and advocacy.
Jonathan later operated his own law practice, where he handled estate planning, workers’ compensation, foreclosures, and personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents and dog bite claims. Through this work, he developed a strong interest in personal injury law.
Jonathan brings a practical approach to his work at Morgan & Morgan, shaped by his early litigation experience and hands-on legal practice.
Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys hiking with his dog, yoga, cycling, and spending time with family.
