Jonathan Thomson

Trial Attorney

Jonathan Thomson (JT) was born in Birmingham, Alabama before moving to Orlando, Florida as a child. After graduating from Bishop Moore High School in Orlando, he attended the University of Miami for his undergraduate education receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2001. Upon receiving his degree, he attended Brooklyn Law School in Brooklyn, New York, before returning to Orlando in 2009 following graduation.

Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, JT worked at a prominent Florida civil defense firm where he specialized in defending insurance companies and their insureds in personal injury lawsuits. As part of a highly respected defense firm, he developed a keen awareness for how insurance companies (de)value cases for those injured as a result of the negligence of others. Furthermore, his time on the defense allowed him to frequently spend time in the courtroom developing invaluable knowledge and experience.

Mr. Thomson joined Morgan and Morgan in August 2019, and now utilizes his prior experience as a defense attorney to prepare his clients for what to expect from the insurance company during the handling of their claim. This experience allows his clients to know that their attorney will ensure their case is being handled with utmost professionalism and attention to detail. Mr. Thomson primarily represents clients who have been injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident and premises liability claims, but is happy to be of help to anyone who needs legal assistance in their time of need.
