Meet Jean S. Scanlan

Jean Scanlan began her educational path at Temple University in Philadelphia, graduating with her undergraduate degree in 2015. Driven to advocate for others in the legal field, she attended Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2022. Following law school, Jean was admitted to the state bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as to the federal courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Today, Jean brings her passion and legal dedication to the Morgan & Morgan Philadelphia office. Her practice focuses on representing individuals and families in complex personal injury, premises liability, slip-and-fall, and wrongful death cases. Known for her warm, approachable guidance and determined advocacy, Jean is deeply committed to supporting clients through challenging times, working tirelessly to hold negligent parties accountable and secure the full compensation and justice they deserve.

Outside of her legal practice, Jean cherishes quality time spent with her family. When she is not in the office or in the courtroom advocating for clients, she enjoys relaxing at home and making memories with her husband and their twin boys.

“I became a lawyer to help people rebuild after the worst moments of their lives. As a personal injury attorney, I get to combine that mission with what drives me most: a competitive edge. Every case is a chance to fight hard for someone in need and help turn that fight into real recovery.”
