Meet Jason T. Souza
Jason Souza is an accomplished California attorney with nearly a decade of experience representing businesses, public entities, insurers, and individuals in litigation and transactional matters. His prior experience includes, personal injury, premises liability, catastrophic injury, habitability, employment law, consumer protection, insurance defense, entertainment and media law, intellectual property, and business disputes.
At Morgan & Morgan, Jason handles a broad range of general liability matters, including premises liability, dog bite, catastrophic injury, and habitability claims. Drawing upon years of experience defending insurers, corporations, and public entities, he offers clients a unique strategic advantage: an insider's understanding of how defendants, insurance carriers, and defense counsel evaluate risk, develop litigation strategies, and approach settlement negotiations. This perspective enables him to anticipate opposing arguments, identify leverage points, and pursue the most favorable outcomes for his clients.
Throughout his career, he has successfully managed litigation from inception through resolution, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
Jason earned his Master of Business Administration from Claremont Graduate University's Drucker School of Management, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Entertainment and Media Law from Southwestern Law School, and his Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School. He is admitted to practice before all California state courts and the United States District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California.
