Meet Jason Prueher

Jason Prueher grew up in Ellington, Connecticut, as part of the first generation in his family born in the United States after his mother immigrated from Colombia. Raised with a deep appreciation for fairness, justice, and equity, he went on to attend Clark University, where he excelled academically while playing college soccer. Following his undergraduate studies, Jason earned his law degree from The University of Connecticut School of Law in 2001. During his law school tenure, he actively sharpened his advocacy skills as a member of the Moot Court Board and built lasting connections through the Latino Law Students Association.

After graduating from law school, Jason launched his legal career by spending years practicing law in Manhattan, building a strong foundation in complex civil litigation. Over the course of his impressive career, he has focused exclusively on standing up for injured individuals and serving as a compassionate, powerful voice for people in need. Jason has also maintained a strong commitment to leadership and mentorship within the broader legal community, taking on active roles over the years with the Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association.

As an experienced trial lawyer, Jason has built a proven track record of securing exceptional results for his clients against formidable opponents. His notable achievements include a $6,000,000 recovery for a client who suffered a traumatic brain injury due to failed motor vehicle brakes, and a $2,100,000 resolution against a medical institution for failing to diagnose a back fracture that rendered an elderly patient paralyzed. He has also championed the rights of injured workers and minors, securing a $600,000 recovery for a child injured by a baggage conveyor belt, alongside major recoveries of $570,000 and $475,000 for Spanish-speaking construction workers who suffered severe injuries after falling on job sites.

Today, Jason remains deeply dedicated to serving his clients while enjoying a rewarding personal life in Fairfield, Connecticut, with his wife, their two sons, and their family dog, Messi. Family and heritage are central to his life, and with the help of his wife, he works daily to pass down his Colombian roots by teaching Spanish to his boys. Outside of his legal practice, Jason channels his lifelong passion for sports into coaching his sons on the soccer field, bringing the same energy and heart to his family life that he brings to the courtroom every single day.
