Meet Gabriela Guardiola

Gabriela Guardiola built a strong academic foundation in Florida, beginning with her dual-enrollment studies at State College of Florida, where she earned an Associate in Science in Criminal Justice Technology alongside a Homeland Security Certificate. She went on to attend Florida Gulf Coast University, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. Driven by a passion for advocacy and the law, Gabriela earned her Juris Doctor from Cooley Law School in April 2024, receiving prestigious Book Awards in Civil Procedure II and Equity and Remedies.

Throughout her legal education, Gabriela gained diverse practical experience across multiple practice areas. During her early internships, she assisted clients with personal injury and bankruptcy matters, developing sharp client communication skills and a detailed approach to case management. She later expanded her legal acumen by working on healthcare compliance, regulatory analysis, and policy development, giving her a well-rounded understanding of complex statutory frameworks and risk assessment.

Following law school, Gabriela launched her career in public defense, quickly demonstrating natural leadership in the courtroom. Managing high-volume dockets and maintaining a daily courtroom presence, she earned two promotions within six months through her fierce client advocacy and strategic preparation. Over the course of her practice, Gabriela tried numerous felony cases, securing not guilty verdicts, mistrials, and lesser-included convictions, while also successfully arguing dispositive motions that resulted in charge dismissals, habeas corpus relief, and the immediate release of incarcerated individuals.

In her practice, Gabriela is known for her compassionate, client-centered approach and clear communication, taking the time to ensure every individual understands their options and feels fully supported. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and brings a dedicated personal touch to her work, mentoring newer colleagues and connecting clients with vital community and recovery resources. Gabriela remains deeply committed to fighting for everyday people, bringing tireless courtroom experience and strategic insight to every case she represents.
