Biography Overview
A senior litigator in Morgan & Morgan’s Premises Department, Fay Olga Pappas has extensive experience handling all manner of premises, theme park, serious motor vehicle and trucking collisions, medical malpractice, wrongful death, nursing home abuse and defective products litigation. She has handled cases from day one through appeal and tried matters in both state and federal courts throughout Florida. Fay has been named to the “Top 100” of Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorneys every year since 2019 by the National Trial Lawyers Association, ranked “Top 40 Under 40” of Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorneys in Florida since 2016, and recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a “Rising Star” in Plaintiff’s Personal Injury since 2017.
Born and raised in the Orlando area where she still resides with her husband, Fay sought out a career in law to fight on behalf of her fellow Floridians. After graduating from the Frederick F. Levin School of Law at the University of Florida with Honors where she served as an editor of the Florida Law Review, she returned home to the Orlando area to start that fight in earnest. But her drive to serve and protect her community extends beyond the courtroom: in 2021, she was presented by the Florida Supreme Court with the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Pro Bono Service Award for her work connecting medical personnel across the state with free housing to quarantine from friends and loved ones in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in 2022 she was named “Leader in the Law” by the Florida Association of Women’s Lawyers for her years-long advocacy, in addition to other recognitions throughout the years.
Both a proud native Floridian and first generation American, Fay grew up watching her parents work tirelessly to build a new life in this state.
