Meet Erick J. Adames-Ramirez

Erick J. Adames-Ramirez is an attorney at Morgan & Morgan's Orlando office, where he focuses on personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the Bronx and Miami, he developed a strong work ethic, resilience, and adaptability early on. He is fluent in English and Spanish and is committed to advancing justice, protecting his clients' rights, and serving his community.

Erick earned his Bachelor of Science in Sociology, with a minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice, from Florida State University, where he became the first person in his family to attend and graduate from a four-year university. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law in 2025, becoming the first lawyer in his family. Law school sharpened his legal reasoning and deepened his commitment to advocating for people navigating the aftermath of serious injuries.

At Barry Law, Erick received the Book Award in Civil Procedure for earning the highest grade in his section, and was a recipient of the Barry Law Merit Scholarship, the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association Future Leader Scholarship, and the Second Chance of Florida Foundation Scholarship, awarded for perseverance through adversity. He is an active member of The Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association, the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter of the National Bar Association, and the NAACP.

Throughout law school, Erick worked full time as a paralegal at Morgan & Morgan, spending three years on high-value, complex medical malpractice, personal injury, and premises liability cases. That experience gave him a working knowledge of how these cases are built long before he began handling them as an attorney, and it is the foundation he brings to his clients today.

As an attorney for the firm, Erick brings discipline, determination, and a client-first mindset to every case he handles, and he is committed to helping his clients recover the compensation they deserve.
