Donya R. Alkhatib was born and raised in Florida. Due to her academic achievements, Ms. Alkhatib dually enrolled at Daytona State College her sophomore year of high school and subsequently earned her Associates Degree prior to graduating high school. She then graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a concentration in International Relations.
Ms. Alkhatib received an Academic Scholarship to attend Barry University School of Law where she was selected to be on the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Law Student Division Board of Governors. She was active in multiple campus organizations as well as within the local community assisting those in need and volunteering with several nonprofit organizations.
Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Ms. Alkhatib worked for a prominent personal injury firm in Northeast Florida. Ms. Alkhatib understands the personal injury process is complicated and that is why she chose to devote her career to assisting those that have sustained injuries due to the negligence of others. She is aware that every person is different, as is every case, and tailors her approach to each client accordingly.
