Dominic Scavo

Trial Attorney
(727) 275-6109

Dominic was raised in Hornell, a small town in the Finger Lakes region of Western New York. He graduated cum laude from Alfred University and earned his Juris Doctor with honors from Stetson University College of Law. During law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Edward C. LaRose of Florida’s Second District Court of Appeal, where he gained valuable experience and insight into the appellate process.

Dominic’s passion for representing injured individuals is deeply personal. As a former athlete and someone who has endured injuries firsthand—including fractures to his femur, elbow, and thumb, along with multiple surgeries to his spine, leg, knee, and shoulder—Dominic brings a unique level of empathy and understanding to his clients' experiences. His own recovery journeys allow him to connect with clients on a deeper level and effectively advocate for their needs.

Dedicated to providing highly personalized legal representation, Dominic makes himself readily accessible to his clients and is committed to clear, consistent communication throughout every stage of their case. He prides himself on being approachable, responsive, and fully invested in achieving the best possible outcomes.

Dominic resides in St. Petersburg, Florida, with his wife, Hannah, and their rescue dog, Storm. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and watching his favorite New York sports teams—the Mets, Jets, and Knicks.
