Biography

Biography Overview

Mr. Lavender received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University in 1994 and his law degree from Florida State University in 1998. Mr. Lavender began practicing law in Tallahassee, FL in 1998 representing insurance companies in workers’ compensation matters. In 2000, Mr. Lavender joined Morgan & Morgan in Orlando, FL representing workers who were injured on the job. Mr. Lavender has successfully tried workers’ compensation cases throughout the state of Florida. He has also represented people in Social Security Disability claims. 

Mr. Lavender is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubble. He is a founding member of the Orlando, FL and a member of the Tampa, FL workers’ compensation chapters of the prestigious American Inns of Court. He is a member of Florida Workers’ Advocates. 

In 2016, Mr. Lavender was asked to run the workers’ compensation department of the St. Petersburg, FL Morgan & Morgan office where he currently practices.
