Meet Christian Leger
Christian is an attorney in Morgan & Morgan's Product Liability and Safety Group. He maintains a national litigation practice focusing primarily on representation of people who have suffered injuries because of defective products and the negligence of others. He has extensive experience regarding a wide range of product failures, including automotive defects and vehicle fires, airbag failures, elevator and escalator failures, swimming pool filters, electric bikes, and lithium-ion battery fires. Christian is also heavily involved in the firm's prosecution of lawsuits against artificial intelligence companies.
Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Christian was a partner in two Am Law 200 firms where he represented multi-national corporations in complex commercial litigation lawsuits based in false advertising, intellectual property disputes, securities fraud, unfair and deceptive trade practices, breach of contract, antitrust, and other litigation matters. He also gained extensive experience representing clients involved in Ponzi schemes and other financial fraud.
Christian attended the University of Florida where he obtained a B.S. in Finance. He attended Stetson University School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor. During law school, he served as the Executive Editor of the Stetson Law Review and competed in the final round of the moot court national championship as a member of Stetson's Moot Court Team. He also served as a teaching assistant to two professors and as a research assistant to a third. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the National Order of Barristers — the highest distinction an advocacy-focused law student can achieve — and received the Dean's Excellence Award.
Christian has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Florida Super Lawyers magazine every year since 2018, which is an annual publication that recognizes the most outstanding 2.5% of lawyers in Florida each year.
