Meet Batkhand Zoljargal
Batkhand Zoljargal launched her legal career in 2008 when she successfully graduated from law school and passed the California Bar Exam on her very first attempt. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to serve her community, she opened her own law practice the following year in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles, focusing primarily on immigration, employment, and bankruptcy law. Seeking to broaden her courtroom skills, she transitioned into civil litigation in 2011, defending individuals and businesses in a wide array of state and federal cases involving banking, real estate, and construction disputes. Over the next several years, Batkhand mastered every stage of the litigation process, managing everything from initial pleadings and written discovery to taking depositions, participating in alternative dispute resolution, leading jury and bench trials, and handling appeals.
In 2018, Batkhand relocated to San Francisco and turned her professional focus toward insurance defense, representing insured individuals and commercial defendants in automobile, trucking, and premises liability lawsuits. This valuable period allowed her to gain an insider perspective on how insurance companies evaluate and defend high-stakes claims. After returning home to Los Angeles in 2025, Batkhand chose to apply this extensive knowledge to the plaintiff's side, shifting her focus to personal injury litigation and binding arbitrations. Having successfully litigated on both sides of the courtroom, she discovered her true calling as a plaintiff’s attorney, finding the greatest professional fulfillment in fighting directly for individuals who are in need of a strong advocate.
Today, Batkhand brings her comprehensive litigation background and diverse experience to the Morgan & Morgan office in Los Angeles. As a dedicated personal injury attorney, she vigorously represents clients across a wide range of complex matters, including car and motorcycle accidents, trucking liability, premises liability, slip and falls, insurance claims, and catastrophic injuries such as spinal cord and brain injuries.
