Meet Hailey A. Leal

Hailey Leal grew up in Brownsville, Texas, where her upbringing and early experiences inspired her lifelong commitment to advocacy. Recognizing from a young age how vital it is for every person in a community to have access to quality legal representation, especially those who are frequently overlooked and underserved, she resolved to pave the way as the first attorney in her family. Guided by that purpose, she pursued her legal education at the University of Wisconsin Law School, dedicating her time to mastering advocacy skills and serving others.

During law school, Hailey distinguished herself through outstanding academic and pro bono achievement. In 2025, she was honored as the recipient of the W. Wade Boardman Scholarship, the Leonard Loeb Scholarship, and the Joseph P. Mettner Foundation Scholarship. She also competed in and coached for the Inter American Human Rights Moot Court program. Her dedication culminated in 2026, when she earned the prestigious Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson Legacy Award alongside Pro Bono Society Membership and the Award of Distinction for Exceptional Service. Throughout her legal training, she sharpened her practical knowledge by working as a judicial extern for Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Annette K. Ziegler and as a law clerk handling civil matters.

Today, Hailey transitions directly from law school to the Morgan & Morgan team, bringing energy, compassion, and a fierce commitment to serving everyday people. Active in the Houston legal community through her local lawyer association memberships, she proudly carries forward the mission of fighting for the people and standing up for the community. Approachable, attentive, and deeply empathetic, Hailey takes genuine pride in being a dependable voice for individuals and families, working tirelessly to ensure they receive the justice, respect, and compensation they deserve.
