Meet Andrew Dawson

Andrew T. Dawson is an Orlando native whose path into the legal field began close to home at the University of Central Florida. During his undergraduate studies, he excelled academically, graduating cum laude in the top 10 percent of his class with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies. Driven to pursue courtroom advocacy, Andrew continued his education at the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law, where he honed his legal research, analytical, and litigation skills before graduating cum laude in the top 7 percent of his class in 2021.

Following law school, Andrew launched his career by immersing himself in diverse and challenging legal disciplines. He gained valuable courtroom and trial advocacy experience serving as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s Ninth Judicial Circuit, representing the community in criminal matters. Throughout the early years of his practice, Andrew also built extensive civil litigation experience across numerous areas, including auto- and fire-related personal injury claims, product liability, premises liability, subrogation, medical malpractice, first-party property, and estate planning and probate law.

Today, Andrew brings his wide-ranging legal background and sharp analytical perspective to Morgan & Morgan, based in Orlando, Florida. Serving as a Presuit Inventory Attorney within the Complex Litigation Services division, he focuses on high-stakes mass tort matters within the firm’s national litigation practice. Dedicated to meticulous preparation and client advocacy, Andrew works diligently behind the scenes to evaluate and develop complex cases, helping ensure everyday individuals have a strong voice when taking on large entities.

Outside of his legal practice, Andrew values leading an active life and staying connected with the local community. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and pickleball, passionately cheering on his favorite sports teams, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
