Meet Alex Gillen

Alex Gillen built his academic and legal foundation as a proud triple graduate of the University of Florida. He began his path by earning an undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the College of Journalism and Communications in 1996, followed by a business degree from the Warrington College of Business in 1997. Eager to turn his analytical and communication background toward legal advocacy, Alex attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he honed his advocacy and legal writing skills before graduating cum laude with his Juris Doctor in 2000.

After gaining admission to practice law in Florida and later in Illinois, Alex embarked on what has become a distinguished legal career spanning more than twenty years. Throughout his practice, he has focused on complex personal injury matters, assisting clients across the country through difficult life circumstances. Over the years, Alex built substantial courtroom and negotiation experience, thoughtfully guiding individuals and families through complex claims involving product liability, commercial trucking accidents, and life-changing injuries.

Through his comprehensive litigation background, including many years serving as a partner managing complex caseloads, Alex developed a thorough understanding of case investigation, accident reconstruction, and corporate responsibility. Colleagues and clients know him as a thoughtful, strategic advocate who approaches every case with patience and diligence, ensuring that companies and insurers are held to the proper standards of care when serious harm occurs.

Today, Alex brings more than two decades of dedicated personal injury experience to the Morgan & Morgan office in Orlando, where he focuses his practice on representing individuals and families navigating severe burn and fire injuries. Approachable, compassionate, and attentive, Alex understands the deep physical, emotional, and financial challenges that accompany catastrophic events.
