Alberto Oquendo-Alvarez

Trial Attorney

A native of the island of enchantment, I moved to Orlando when I was five years old. My mother, having been a paralegal prior to having kids loved to watch Law & Order. That is probably where my interest in law began. What started off as intrigue, turned into a career decision and I studied law at Stetson College of Law in St. Petersburg, FL. Shortly after graduation, I took my talents to New York City where I worked for nearly four years as an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County, Brooklyn, New York. When Covid happened, I decided it was time to come back home and be closer to my family.

Upon passing the Florida Bar Examination, I began working as a Civil Defense Attorney and represented companies such as AAA, Direct General and State Farm. Soon enough my desire to help people, and not just work for big corporations, won out and I decided to become a Plaintiff's attorney. I have been loving my job ever since and I look forward to helping you or a loved one in a time of need.
