28-year-old single male involved in motor vehicle accident with a "phantom vehicle" suffered fractured skull and closed head injury. A titanium plate was inserted in his skull.

 Client, a commercial airline pilot in training, was injured when an orange grove truck pulled in front of her. She developed experienced seizures and lost her ability to fly commercial airliners. A confidential settlement was later reached.

A husband and wife sustained severe orthopedic injuries in a head on collision. The defendants argued that the adverse driver did not have permission to drive. This claim was proved at trial to be false. The case was defended by six attorneys from three south Florida law firms.

Defendant made a left turn into plaintiff’s vehicle.  She underwent an open reduction and internal fixation of the right first, second, third, fourth and fifth metatarsal fracture dislocations with pins and screws.  She also underwent lumbar epidural injections which were unsuccessful.  She ultimately underwent several procedures, including the implantation of a permanent intrathecal pump.

52-year-old female involved in rear-end accident suffered ruptured spleen, spinal fusion surgery, and subsequent incisional hernia surgeries.

This rear-end crash proceeded to trial in Starke after Allstate heavily disputed the cause of the client's claimed neck injury. The jury nearly tripled the pre-trial settlement offer after hearing evidence from the client's physicians and other evidence. 

19-year-old married father suffered a bulging disc in his lumbar spine when he was hit broadside by the defendant, who ran a stop sign. The plaintiff was denied entry into the US Army and lost his GI Bill benefits.

62-year-old married female driver involved in a motor vehicle collision, suffering neck and low back injuries.

$111,000.00 verdict for 63 year old day care worker hit while walking across road. Injuries included fractured nose and several loose teeth that required removal and dental implants insurance company offered $2500.00 before trial to settle.
 

Defendant improperly turned left directly in front of client, then denied client suffered permanent low back injury in the crash. Defense fought hard at trial and hired multiple experts but jury found client had been permanently injured in the crash.

Although our client did not speak English and had spent his entire life working in a physically-demanding job, the Jacksonville jury found that the claimed medical treatment, injuries and lost ability to work up to planned retirement was related to this low-speed rear-end accident. The defense offered multiple experts at trial and argued that the claimed injuries resulted from our client's long life and demanding jobs.

Client's vehicle was struck by an oil delivery truck in the Florida Keys. Client sustained back injury and developed seizure disorder.

Pedestrian fractured his femur while crossing street at an intersection.

 47-year-old single female driver involved in a rear-end motor vehicle collision, suffering a neck injury and headaches.

Jury returned verdict of $60,0000 due to defendant driver side swipping Plaintiff and knocking his side mirror off of his car. Defendant did not stop and Plaintiff in an attempt to give chase grabs the broken mirror and suffered a severe laceration to his finger requiring surgery.

Trial was July 26, 2010. Pretrial offer was $10,000.

Rear-end crash in Lake City and client was a passenger in a pick-up truck. The client had treated for neck and back complaints, although the cause of the injuries was heavily disputed by the defense and its experts. The pre-trial settlement offer was approximately 1/3 of the final judgment amount.

51-year-old woman suffered permanent lower back injuries when another vehicle collided into the rear of her SUV at a speed that caused her rear windows to shatter.

Plaintiff was in an auto accident resulting in neck and back pain as a result. Plaintiff treated conservatively with a neurosurgeon and had several visits with a chiropractor. The Defendant did not believe the Plaintiff suffered a permanent impairment and fought the case on damages. The jury found that the Plaintiff suffered a permanent injury despite the minimal treatment. Defendant's offer was significantly less than the verdict.
