The Jury Is Out: Why We Will Fight All the Way to Trial

The Jury Is Out: Why We Will Fight All the Way to Trial - Justice Scale

This is the first entry in our week-long series celebrating the importance of trials. Why are trials important? It's about justice.

At Morgan & Morgan, we pride ourselves on making sure our clients obtain justice, no matter how tough the fight is. Sometimes, the only way to accomplish this is by going to trial. In an effort to highlight the importance of trials, this week is Trial Week at Morgan & Morgan.

6,000 Percent Higher Than a Pre-Trial Offer

People sometimes receive inadequate settlement offers that can only be remedied in the courtroom. For a fair number of the verdicts we win, the amount will be many many times higher than the initial pre-trial offer.

In one instance, an insurance company offered a client injured in an automobile accident $25,000, but that wasn't adequate for the needs of the client. So we took the case to trial and secured a $12 million jury verdict for the client.

That's more than 60 times higher than the insurance company's initial offer. But it's not just about money. It's important for people's voices to be heard. At trial, their voice is heard loud and clear.

If you would like to learn more about the importance of trials, you can start by taking a look at the video below of attorneys in our Atlanta office speaking about why we talk so much about going to trial.
