Biography Overview

Utrophia Daniell Robinson is a Georgia native from the small town of Senoia, GA and a graduate of the Clayton County Public School System where she graduated at the top of her class form Lovejoy High School. Knowing at an early age that she would become an attorney, Ms. Robinson was an active member of the Mock Trial Team, serving as team captain and winning the county’s most prestigious recognition of a mock trial advocate, the Julie Jobe award.

Ms. Robinson received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University in 2011 with a double major in Philosophy and African & African American Studies. While at Duke, she continued her preparation for the courtroom by competing with Duke Mock Trial. Outside of the classroom and courtroom, Ms. Robinson lent her talent and passion to the theater arts program, acting and directing, including original pieces. She was awarded the Jody McAuliffe Award for Excellence in Student Directing.

Ms. Robinson returned home to Georgia for law school where she attended the University Of Georgia School Of Law. While at Georgia Law, she honed her courtroom advocacy skills as a decorated member of the Advocacy Program under the direction of Kellie Casey-Monk. As a member of the Georgia Law Moot Court team, Ms. Robinson helped Georgia bring home the ABA Regional Championship, ABA National Best Brief, and Andruws Kurth National Moot Court Championship where she was also named the 2014 Second Best Oralist of the top 16 best moot court programs in the country and helped draft the competition’s Third Best Brief. As a 2014 graduate of Georgia Law, she was inducted into the National Order of Barristers in recognition of excellence and high honor through the art of courtroom advocacy.

Ms. Robinson has always been passionate about defending the cause of The People and began her legal career as an advocate for employee rights against discrimination and unfair practices. She has served as a public defender and Staff Attorney to a judge in her hometown, the Honorable Shana M. Rooks of Clayton County. In private practice, Ms. Robinson formerly served as outside counsel for a major insurance company, giving her an inside edge to navigating insurance claims and fighting on behalf of those injured in automobile accidents.

Ms. Robinson is excited to be a member of the Morgan & Morgan team where she focuses her talent and passion on helping others. She lives by the call of Proverbs 31:8-9 to “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy”. Ms. Robinson credits her mother for her hard work, determination and heart to serve others.
