Rick Fletcher grew up in Dunedin, Florida. After completing high school, Mr. Fletcher attended Florida State University. After graduation from Florida State University, Mr. Fletcher enrolled in the Florida Coastal School of Law, located in Jacksonville, Florida. Within three years, Mr. Fletcher received his Juris Doctorate and passed the Florida Bar examination on his first attempt.
Once Mr. Fletcher became a licensed member of the Florida Bar, he accepted a position to work as an assistant public defender in Clearwater, Florida, where he represented and advocated for poor and underprivileged individuals charged with various criminal offenses. During those seven years as an assistant public defender, Mr. Fletcher conducted approximately 30 jury trials, both as lead attorney and second chair counsel. Mr. Fletcher is highly motivated to help those who have suffered injustice, and now Mr. Fletcher has joined the team at Morgan & Morgan where he represents clients in Insurance Claim disputes, with a focus on First Party Litigation.
In addition to being a member of the Florida Bar, Mr. Fletcher is a member of the Florida Justice Association as well as the St. Petersburg Bar Association.
