Matthew Schultz was born in Lawrence, Kansas in 1985. Throughout his childhood he lived in New York, Ohio and Iowa before settling near his family in Paducah, Kentucky. He graduated from St. Mary High School in Paducah in 2003. He attended Xavier University in Cincinnati and earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a bachelor’s degree in political science, graduating in 2007. Mr. Schultz attended Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. and earned his law degree in 2010.
Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Matthew Schultz ran his own law firm, The Schultz Law Office. His firm handled personal injury law, criminal defense, and business law. He is responsible for running the Paducah office of Morgan & Morgan and has done so since 2016. In his free time, he has been involved in a wide variety of civic organizations and served on The McCracken County Board of Elections, The Paducah Human Rights Commission and the McCracken County Rescue Squad.
