Biography Overview

Mark Hatton received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and obtained his law degree from Mercer University. Mark began his legal career as a staff attorney for the Georgia Superior Court judges of the Brunswick Judicial Circuit. He then was appointed as an Assistant District Attorney for the Douglas Judicial Circuit where he protected the interest of people who were victims of crimes. Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Hatton spent over ten years defending corporations and insurance companies against claims asserted by injured parties. Mark now uses the knowledge and insight he gained defending insurance companies to help injured individuals obtain compensation for the negligent acts of others. He has tried numerous cases throughout Georgia. He has developed the skills and experience necessary to help people with auto accident cases, premises liability cases, products liability claims and wrongful death lawsuits

Mark Hatton was born in Alabama, and has called Georgia home since 1989. Mark and his wife, Davida, have two children. They enjoy following college football and are avid Georgia Bulldogs fans.
