John Cannizzaro was born in Freehold, New Jersey to his parents that are now both retired from the educational field. His dad was a teacher in NYC Schools for well over 30 years and his mom was an administrative assistant to a school principal in a New Jersey public school. Mr. Cannizzaro graduated college in 2001 from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. He was involved in a wide array of philanthropic events and was the president of his fraternity Lambda Chi Alpha.
Mr. Cannizzaro moved to Florida in 2003 to attend law school. He graduated from Florida Coastal School in Law in 2006. He is still involved today in the law school where he serves as both a mentor as well as a mock trial coach. Mr. Cannizzaro began his legal career working for the State Attorney’s Office where he was an Assistant State Attorney. He has served in the homicide/major crime divisions as well as a Division Chief in both County and Circuit courts. Mr. Cannizzaro has also worked as a trial attorney both as a insurance defense attorney as well as a personal injury attorney.
Mr. Cannizzaro is excited about working at Morgan & Morgan dealing exclusively with Premises Liability cases. He is able to bring his knowledge and skill of over 100 jury trials to help fight for his clients, ensuring they are treated fairly.
