Bio Overview:
Tametrice E. Hodges is a native of Jackson, Mississippi where she attended the historical boarding school, Piney Woods School from 1999 to 2003. In 2003, Tametrice attended Denison University located in Granville, Ohio where she doubled majored in communication and English writing. While at Denison University, she was a member of the indoor/outdoor track and field team (800 meter race), a member of the honor society Lamda Pi Eta for communications, and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
In 2007, she attended Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi. There, she was a member of the Frederick Douglas Moot Court team and received various awards--John B. Farese Scholarship, the Lenore Prather Award Scholarship, and the Best Paper Award in Consumer Law, Entergy Mississippi: Preying or Protecting. In 2010, she became a member of the Mississippi Bar and is licensed to practice before all the courts in the state of Mississippi.
