Tables


Before seating and serving clients, it is important to make sure that restaurant tables are set correctly. The stability of each table should be verified, as wobbly tables can lead to spills and accidents. Chairs should be wiped down and placed the appropriate distance from the table, and table tops and edges should be clean thoroughly. The floor around the table should also be clean, and any trash should be picked up.

Plants around tables should be cleaned and left free of dust and dirt. Salt and pepper shakers, sugar bowls and table tents should be cleaned and refilled, then set in the middle of the table. Lastly, table settings should be inspected for cleanliness and aligned properly.
