One car accident, rollover, cervical injury/parapalegic.

Landscaper was catastrophically injured in a motor vehicle accident.  Morgan & Morgan represented the worker and his family. A shop foreman for a construction company was seriously injured in an auto accident and suffered partial quadriplegia from a fractured cervical vertebrae and was permanently disabled. Although the injured worker was cited with running a red light and failure to wear a seat belt, Morgan and Morgan was able to obtain a settlement of $825,000.00 which included permanent medical and disability benefits.

A lawn care worker had a riding lawnmower overturn on him. His spinal cord was compromised, but with rehabilitation he was able to walk with assistance.

Heavy equipment mechanic suffered neck injury while loading industrial floor jack on truck. The injury was treated surgically. The employer/carrier initially denied the claim for permanent total disability benefits claiming the injured employee was capable of substantial gainful employment. Morgan & Morgan filed a claim to get his daughter's home modified for wheelchair access and the addition of a handicapped room for him to live in and a handicapped bathroom. After mediation and prior to Final Hearing the carrier provided those home modifications which included a complete addition and agreed to pay a settlement of $384,000.00 which included lifetime disability benefits, lifetime medical benefits and funds for a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

40 year-old laborer injured low back and underwent lumbar fusion surgery. The procedure was unsuccessful and he was unable to return to work.

A young construction worker suffered a lumbar spine injury when a stack of trusses fell on his low back fracturing two vertebrae. He was left partially disabled from the injury.
