Brain Injury Settlements

Automobile accident case resulting in brain injury to plaintiff.  Plaintiff was in a coma for nearly 1 month and had to receive 2 months of brain injury rehabilitation.

The Plaintiff suffered various injuries, including a brain injury and below the knee amputation.

56-year-old female was struck by a satellite installation van while riding her bicycle when the van ran a stop sign. She suffered a head injury and multiple fractures. She was rendered neurologically and physically handicapped and eventually died after a massive seizure.

Brain Injury to infant as result of failure to recognize blood disorder prior to surgery.

Commercial semi-truck broke down in middle of country highway during evening hours due to unhinged trailer, causing Plaintiff's semi-truck to impact the stalled truck and careen into off-road trees which resulted in brain and left arm injuries.

50-year-old male was on his way to work when a tractor-trailer with no reflective devices violated client's right of way. He struck the side of the trailer and suffered severe brain injury and compound fractures of the leg. The client had part of his leg amputated 18 months later.

Van rollover on highway due to poorly maintained vehicle and tire by business van owner, causing traumatic brain injuries.

29-year-old laborer (pedestrian) was struck by a bus while crossing South Orange Blossom Trail at night where there was no crosswalk and in an unlit area. Plaintiff suffered head injury and was left totally disabled, both neurologically and physically. Defendant argued that plaintiff was under the influence of alcohol and cocaine at the time of the accident.

22-year-old male was driving a friend's car, when he was broadsided at an intersection. He suffered serious brain injury, with loss of memory. The defendant fled the scene of the accident and was later apprehended.

5-year-old child was a passenger in an automobile accident.  As a result of the accident he sustained a closed head injury that required surgical intervention to relieve brain swelling.
